Gregg Borgeson learned the forwarding business from the ground up, answering phones at Emery Air Freight, serving as an executive at BAX and running Hellmann in North America. He then entered the technology side of the business, co-founding QuoteShip.com, which he later sold to Logistics.com. Gregg founded Ex Works in 2004.
Penny Bullen is Gregg’s partner in Ex Works and is responsible for the company’s finance and administration. Penny served as an executive at IES Ltd., a leading software company serving the forwarding and compliance industry which was acquired by Descartes in 2012. IES was the original technology partner of Ex Works.
Rachel Loehner worked for Agility for five years with responsibilities that encompassed marketing and brand management. She and her team are the people who keep the documents flowing, the rates populated and all questions promptly answered. If there’s a customer service question, Rachel’s team solves it.
Tom Outwin is responsible for business development, helps on-board new clients and is president of Ex Works’ Remote Control America subsidiary. Tom started in operations at Harper Robinson in 1980 and held senior executive positions at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and Panalpina.
Bob Pupazzoni and his team of developers designed and built Ex Works’ proprietary software, our infrastructure at Amazon Web Services and continue to expand our electronic links with hundreds of other transportation entities. Bob earned a master’s degree in Computer Science and has been building software for forwarders since 1995.
